Maqsood Hassan passed away after spending 67 years with the human beings of planet world. Rest in peace Maqsood Hassan, May Allah rests your soul. You will always be remembered for making an impact in the industry and your memories and what we learnt from you will always be there within us.
Maqood Hassan, a stage and television artist and a past master of radio, left us all forever because his heart stopped beating and the time had come when he had to leave for the eternal world. His marriage had six years of span and he wasn’t having any children as he had lots of love from many children around the country. He used to make us smile and would make hearts and minds feel good and also provide an awesome and amazing time to his beloved audience.
Almost 50 years in the industry is something which can’t be neglected started from Radio Pakistan’s program for children and continuing to dramas, television, stage and even films. One of his closest friends Muhammad Ali is one of his co-actors who spent a lot of time with him on camera. He was one of the actors whose careers swiftly begin to grow and increase rapidly.
Besides a lot of memorable and films, stage dramas and TV serials that he did, “Jaag Utha Insaan’ is one of the films and ‘Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewa’ which was based on a very popular issue, related to lower middle class locality of Pakistan is one the serials of him that will be remembered the most as it also was. He was loved by all and wouldn’t let anyone get tired of his overwhelming acting.
He would also be a part of stage shows and his last stage performance was in Nazar Hussain’s ‘Hum Log.’ He was a veteran actor who exactly knew how to play around roles. Maqsood Hassan’s funeral will be held in Ghazali mosque, Civic view, Hassan square it will be the place where he will be last seen on the face of earth, he would be saying goodbye to the ones he loved and to those who loved him. Getting ready for the funeral and moving to his last and final home. May his soul be rest in peace, Ameen.
